Communion: How Beautiful
Let the glory of the Lord endure forever;
Let the Lord be glad in His works;
He looks at the earth, and it trembles;
He touches the mountains, and they smoke.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Let my meditation be pleasing to Him;
As for me, I shall be glad in the Lord.
– Psalm 104:31-34
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

– John 7:37-38
…and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
– 1 Corinthians 12:3b-7

The Word of God is what we teach and preach.  We strive to keep the first thing first, which is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are non-denominational, but follow the reformed distinctive, primarily because of the reformed tradition of fealty to the Holy Word of God as reveal in scripture. Someone asked “You’re Calvinist, then?” – our answer? Only in so much as Calvin read his Bible.  Our loyalty is not to church dogma or traditions, per se, but rather to faithfully and clearly present the Word.

We invite you to join us as we study and search God’s Word.
